Most artists release a song and wait for the stream count to tell them how it went. Audiomack Pro wants to give you something better: a look inside the track itself. It's now open to every artist on the platform after a high-demand beta, and its headline feature, Song Pulse, shows which moments in a song actually move listeners. Here's what's included, what stands out, and why song-level data matters more than you might think.
What launched
Audiomack, a global streaming and discovery platform with more than 60 million monthly users, has officially launched Audiomack Pro to all artists on the platform. The launch follows a high-demand beta period, making the premium subscription available to everyone.
The platform is especially well-established in hip-hop and Afrobeats communities. Artists can upload unlimited music for free, and the catalogue includes songs from all three major labels and more than 400 independent labels.
What Pro actually includes
Audiomack Pro is a premium monthly subscription that provides advanced fan insights, expedited verification, priority customer support, immediate access to monetisation, Audiomack Boost savings, and the new Song Pulse feature.
Song Pulse: the standout feature
Song Pulse is the most interesting addition for working artists. It gives detailed insight into listener engagement throughout a track, helping identify the moments that connect most with fans. Those insights can then be used to develop promotional content for platforms including TikTok, Reels, and Shorts.
It opens a window into listener engagement at a granular level not available on any other major streaming platform, uncovering what moves fans most in a track.
Reach and targeting
Pro members also receive a 20% increase in listener reach through Audiomack Boost, along with location targeting designed to improve discovery.
Direct-to-fan tools keep growing
Alongside the Pro launch, Audiomack continues to expand Audiomack Connect, its direct-to-fan messaging feature. Connect supports unlimited uploads, detailed audience and performance insights, and includes Promote, which automatically turns Audiomack milestones into shareable promotional assets.
Hundreds of thousands of messages have already been exchanged through Connect, with an average of more than seven replies per message.
Why the data matters for independent artists
Streams only tell you so much
Most independent artists release music without any real understanding of whether a track is landing. Streams are a lagging indicator, and they tell you almost nothing about where in a song a listener switches off or hits repeat. Song-level engagement data of this kind has historically been available only to artists with label teams running analytics in the background.
It changes how you make and pitch music
Knowing the exact moment a listener tends to skip your track changes how you approach your next mix, your next edit, and even your next recording session. It also changes how you pitch your music. If you can demonstrate with data that your hook is consistently driving replays, that is a more compelling conversation to have with a playlist curator, a sync agent, or a platform like Musosoup when you are putting your music in front of real opportunities.
The bottom line
Audiomack is not the largest streaming platform in the world, but its community skews toward scenes where independent artists have genuine fan bases and where discovery still works without a major-label push behind it. For artists in those spaces, this is a meaningful upgrade.
