Apply directly to curators
You can also apply to curators’ promotions via our marketplace. Browse and apply for hundreds of promotions and only pay if the curator commits to working with you.
Curators come to you
Unlike other music-submission platforms where you pay every time you submit to a curator, on Musosoup you submit just once and your release gets sent to every curator on our platform.
Choose your coverage
During your campaign, you decide which offers to accept and which to reject. Whether you want to just accept free offers or engage with paid coverage is totally up to you.
Paid options
Our mission is to find a way to support independent music.
That means supporting the independent, grassroots music press that’s vital for discovering and promoting great new music. Musosoup is designed to help them – and grassroots music – to thrive. We do this by allowing curators to include a small fee when making an offer for coverage. This helps them run their blog, website, radio station, magazine or whatever channel they use to promote great music.
Manage your music promotion
Musosoup allows you to quickly and easily review, accept and decline offers (and free alternatives) from hundreds of curators, and browse an extensive marketplace of music promotion that you can apply for directly.
While your campaign is active you'll be able to message curators and also have access to live reports detailing who has listened to your music and who wants to create content for you, plus links to all the coverage you’ve generated.
We want to offer an affordable way for artists to gain coverage and promote their music while ensuring music curators are supported so they can do what they love - discovering and promoting great music. We vet each submission to make sure it’s ready for curators to review and promote, and we are constantly working to offer more coverage options.
FAQs
-
You’ll pay a one-off fee of £36 (about $45) for a 21-day campaign on Musosoup, which puts your music in front of hundreds of active curators.
During your campaign, you’ll receive offers from curators who like your music and want to promote it.Some of the offers for promotion you receive will have an associated cost, which covers the time taken to generate it, and any marketing costs to promote the content.
However, all chargeable offers must come with a free alternative promotion, so once you’ve paid your campaign fee, it is possible to receive coverage for no further cost. -
We understand that sometimes music just isn’t of a sufficient quality for curators to support it. By having this approval system, we make sure you don’t spend any money unless you have a good chance of successfully promoting your music via our platform.
-
Submit your track and start promoting your music up to 90 days before your release date. Your 21 days start from the day your music is released, or from when you activate your campaign if you’ve already released your music. We recommend planning ahead and submitting your music early to generate as much interest and coverage as possible.

We ask that all artists have a full press kit ready with their submission, including release artwork and an artist press photo. This is to ensure our curators have everything they need instantly, to make covering your release as easy as possible.
But don’t worry if you don’t have everything to hand immediately when you submit your music, as you can easily step back into the process and add elements as and when you have them prior to your release date. -

We’re determined to make a platform that’s fair and sustainable for both artists and curators. This is why we let our curators offer certain types of coverage and music promotions with an additional fee to cover their time and marketing costs.
